Although enthusiasts were unable to attend the tour in person, many expressed their fun on social media.
“The ? bear necessities! Baloo spectated,” wrote one person on the video posted to the PGA Tour’s Facebook, making a reference to the bear and hit song from The Jungle Book.
“Yogi is behind a bird, but above all a delicious picnic basket ? ? ?,” he joked, referring to the iconic animated character.
“You tried to tell the BEARacuda championship,” another user joked, adding: “I don’t think they had fans. Someone gets a ticket!”
“They crossed the green around 10 a.m.!” A tournament representative informs people. “The players in the box were Kevin Tway, Pat Perez and Brendan Steele.”

John Mutch of the PGA Tour Rules – Competition issues indicate that encounters with golf in wildlife are “pretty common.”
“With a bear-like scenario going through the course in its herbal habitat, we don’t fundamentally interfere unless it becomes a damaging scenario for players, caddies and anyone else,” Mutch explains. The Barracuda championships, which began on July 27, are scheduled for August 2, according to their website.
Spectators were allowed to attend the golf occasion due to COVID-19 restrictions, and officials made the announcement “difficult” at the end of June.

“While this is a difficult resolution for us, the fitness and protection of everyone involved in the tournament and the dominance around us remains our number one priority,” tournament director Chris Hoff said in a statement. “We remain very pleased that a global continues to see the good looks of our region through the transmission on Golf Channel.”
According to the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDW), American black bears are the only natural bear species in Nevada and are discovered in the mountainous spaces and foothills of Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and other mountain ranges in western Nevada.
Over the past 10 years, bear court cases have increased particularly due to an accumulation in the number of other people living in their habitat, they said.
The NDW also reported that the Tahoe basin has the second-highest density of black bears in North America, with multiple occasions where there have been several bears per square mile.
