Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump has written a revelation about the president and his family.
The ebook was released on Thursday, July and sold 950,000 copies, a new record for its publisher, Simon and Schuster.
In the book, Mary shows that she is a source for ancient research through the New York Times.
When Donald Trump moved to the White House, more than a few members of his family circle sided with him. It doesn’t seem that a day has passed without the public hearing about the exploits of a Trump child, whether it’s Ivanka’s Instagram posts at the time or Don Jr’s right-wing statements. even lesser-known personalities, such as Donald’s sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, have been discovered under new scrutiny.
But until very recently, the president’s niece, Mary Trump, had been heard slightly. With the announcement of his e-book about his uncle, which caused a legal skirmish and then set publication records on the first day, everything changed. Here, what you want to know about Mary Lea Trump.
Mary is the eldest granddaughter of Patriarch Fred Trump Sr., and the daughter of Fred Trump Jr., the time of five sons of Fred Sr. and Mary Trump. Fred Trump Jr. died of an attack on the center from alcohol-related headaches at the age of 42 in 1981. He left two young men, Mary L. Trump and Fred Trump III, both teenagers at the time, with Linda Lee Clapp, his ex-wife.

Unlike other family members, Mary chose to live largely under the radar. Little is known about his non-public life, other than that the 55-year-old woman lives with his daughter in New York. Mary holds a master’s degree in literature from Columbia University and a doctorate in psychology from CNN’s Adelphi University. According to his biography on the Simon-Schuster website, he has taught courses in traumatology, psychopathology and developmental psychology.
Mary has publicly criticized her long circle of relatives for the treatment Mr. Fred Trump received after his death in 1999.
After Fred III and Mary knew they would get a much smaller percentage of Fred Sr.’s estate than expected, they sued to challenge the outcome, claiming that Donald had stressed Fred Sr. to replace his will while Fred Sr. suffered from the effects of dementia
His brother, Fred III, had recently had a child with cerebral palsy, which required medical attention. Expenses had been covered through a Trump insurance plan. But after Fred III and Mary defied the will of Fred Sr., Robert, Maryanne, and Donald abandoned medical policy for Fred III’s young son in retaliation.
“When [Fred III] sued us, we said, “Why do we give him medical coverage?” Donald told the New York Daily News in 2000.
Mary also spoke to the Daily News for the article. “Given this circle of relatives, it would be naive to say that this has nothing to do with money. But for me and my brother, it has much more to do with our father’s recognition,” he said. “He existed, he lived, was his eldest son. And William is my father’s grandson. It is as important a component of this circle of relatives as any. He has a desperate need for extra attention.”
The dispute was resolved confidentially.
In June, Daily Beast announced that Mary was about to publish a story about the Trump family. The highly anticipated Too and Never Enough: How My Family created the world’s most dangerous man officially released on July 16, 2020.
“Mary L. Trump has the education, insight and intimate familiarity to reveal what motivates Donald and the rest of his clan,” promises the description at Simon and Schuster, adding that Mary would reveal “a nightmare of trauma, destructive relationships and a tragic mix of forgetfulness and abuse” in the next book.
Per the Daily Beast, Mary also reveals in Too Much and Never Enough that she was a primary source for the New York Times’s landmark investigation into Donald Trump’s taxes.
On June 21, Donald Trump told Axios that Mary “didn’t have permission to write a book” because she signed a confidentiality agreement in 2001, following the dispute over Fred Sr.’s estate. Trump’s statements to Axios showed a separate article in Daily Beast, which reported on Mary’s NDA.
Last month, Donald Trump’s younger brother, Robert, sued Mary for trying to avoid publishing the e-book, which brought the 2001 NDA. On June 30, a New York State Supreme Court ruling temporarily blocked the publication of Mary’s eBook before a hearing for the case on July 10. Mary and Simon-Schuster’s attorney agreed to appeal, and on July 1, an appeal ruling overturned the declining court’s decision, allowing the eebook to be published while either party awaits the hearing date.
