According to Kantar’s leader, the leader in the French grocery market, E.Leclerc, the most productive player in the last 4 weeks, its percentage increased from 1.1% to 22.6%.
E. Leclerc saw a 22% increase in traffic to its e-commerce sites in the P7 era (June 15 to July 17), Kantar said, while reaping benefits from larger basket sizes.
The distributor also increased its media investment through just under a third (31% more) during the period, to its leadership position.
