Although singer Duffy lent her voice to go out and get the debatable Netflix movie that 365 Days removed from the streaming service, it’s not moving.
Netflix on Friday would continue to broadcast the Polish film, refusing to deny the public freedom of choice.
“We believe it is vital to give our members around the world more selection and control over their Netflix viewing experience,” a Netflix spokesperson told Reuters.
“Members can decide what they do and don’t need to take a look through setting up adult filters at the profile point and cut express titles for themselves from content they consider too mature.”
He also noted that it is a Polish film released in theaters in several countries in February 2020 and that Netflix had legalized the film and was not concerned about production.

Grammy-winning singer Duffy, 35, who recently revealed her own joy at rape, drugs and kidnapping, pleaded with Netflix to leave her library movie in an open letter.
Sharing his concerns, Duffy wrote: “365 days glorifies the brutal truth of sex trafficking, kidnapping and rape. This is not the concept of entertainment through anyone, nor is it described as such, nor is it advertised in this way.
“I’m writing those words (the ones I can’t write in 2020, with so much hope and progress in recent years), because nearly 25 million people have recently been trafficked around the world, not to mention the countless people. Training
“I regret that Netflix provides a platform for such a ‘cinema’, which eroticizes kidnappings and distorts sexual violence and trafficking as a ‘sexy’ movie.
“I just can’t believe how Netflix can forget how carefree, insensitive and harmful it is.”

His letter, posted through the online entertainment news page Deadline, followed an ongoing petition in Change.org calling for Netflix to remove the film to glorify sex trafficking and facilitate sexual assault against women.
As of Friday night, the petition had about 6,000 signatures.
The debatable Netflix movie is so daring that Fifty Shades of Grey has a PG look.
The Polish series, which reached the broadcast giant this week and is lately the number five trending film on Netflix Australia, features scenes of BDSM, voyeurism and perverse sex scenes that are so graphic that actors think the actors had sex.
The film’s lead actors, Anna Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone, should comment publicly on the controversy.
