The DW Sports sports and gym organization store became a manager and appointed BDO as administrator.

The company announced that it would now permanently stop its retail operations, with the discontinuation of its operations with immediate effect and the final sales of its remaining 50 stores.

59 of its gymnasiums have reopened in England and Northern Ireland and BDO says the 14 gyms will reopen if possible.

BDO that Fitness First, which is its sister corporation, will continue to function as a separate corporation and its 43 sports clubs will not be affected through management.

BDO says that gyms that have already been opened since the coronavirus block will open and that others will be reopened if possible.

He says gym members touch their local gym to learn more about reopening plans, or touch their consumer center on 01942 311215.

We asked BDO if gift cards are still accepted at DW Sports retail outlets and will update this story when we receive an answer.

We also ask BDO if returns will be accepted and notable orders placed online will be fulfilled. We’ll update this story once we’ve responded
