Safer Buying

Contactless experience, including booking online and contactless ticket checks in cinema and contactless till payments for purchasing food and drinks

A diversity of Array prepackaged foods and beverages that adds a bottled drink, Butterkist popcorn and a bag of sweets at the speed of service

A safer space

Limited positions for sale for each exhibition and unoccupied seats guaranteed among visitors to meet social distance requirements, while allowing the circle of family equipment and social bubbles to come together

Start times for stepped transmissions to decrease queues, with secure queue measurements such as markings on the floor and for film presenters

Newly maintained air conditioning that ensures there is new air on all screens

Enhanced cleaning by well-trained teams

More frequent cleaning routines on all high contact areas of the cinema guest journey

Guest sanitiser stations offering complimentary sanitising gels and wipes

Teams diligently trained on safety and hygiene measures, equipped with PPE, including face coverings and gloves

Carol Welch, managing director of the UK -IRE, said: “We are extremely pleased to verify that from the 4th of July our cinemas in the UK will begin to reopen. We have thoroughly planned every step of our guests’ adventure and implemented security measures that will allow our highly qualified colleagues to provide a controlled and safer cinematic experience for all of our guests.

“The new measures come with social distance in our auditoriums and homes, more cleaning schemes and an online e-ticket request prior to arrival. We would like to thank our colleagues and visitors for their patience this time, and look forward to welcoming visitors back for big screen entertainment and a safer cinematic experience.”
