Between November 2019 and July 2020, 33 new sites were rated in Argentina, Brazil, India, the Netherlands, Paraguay and Turkey according to the standard, 11 ports, the organization said.

The popular RTRS traceability chain sets the needs of the various traceability systems that an organization will need to put in place to maintain control of RTRS-certified soybean stocks for the production of guilty soybeans.The source chain must be implemented and required for organizations that want it.receive, process and market soy or soy by-products of RTRS soybeans.
The certificate is valid for five years and annual follow-up audits are an integral part of the standard.
Last year we reported how Cereal Docks in Italy received the RTRS Chain of Custody Standard, the first soybean crushing plant in Europe to do so.
“The number of qualified sites shows the strengthening of the sustainable formula for RTRS soybeans worldwide.
“RTRS celebrates this significant breakthrough in terms of commitment to sustainable soybeans demonstrated through processing and marketing companies, who are RTRS certified as a practical and reliable tool to achieve their sustainable progression goals and, therefore, those of other actors in the soybean price chain.
“This is a vital step in the provision of RTRS (mass balance) physical appliances that seem to be scale achievements imaginable through the joint effort of all actors in the soybean price chain,” the organization said.
To date, 84 sites worldwide are qualified to obtain RTRS-qualified physical soybeans.
The RTRS described the places of the newly qualified sites.
In Europe, Bunge has qualified in the Netherlands, which includes 4 headquarters, garage and a processing plant; and in Asia, India, Kriti Nutrients Limited has qualified a processing plant.
In terms of advances in Latin America, Louis Dreyfus (LDC) has enabled two sites in Argentina, with garage and processing plant, as well as two ports in the province of Santa Fe, Timbees, San Lorenzo and General Lagos in Rosario.
COFCO International has also received certification at 3 sites in Argentina, which have a garage, a processing plant and a port in the commercial complex of the province of Santa Fe, Timbies and two garage floors in the provinces of Córdoba and Salta.
Continuing with Argentina, Soy Alimentos SA has enabled a site, which is a reception area, a garage, a processing plant and a packing plant, and Bullmark SRL has also rated a site, which is a garage, a sorting and packing facility.
In Brazil, LDC has rated six sites, 3 garages, one processing plant and two ports, one in Santos, Sao Paulo and one in Santarém, Paro.Vegetallis Indstria e Comércio has also qualified a processing plant in Paraná.
As for Paraguay, COFCO International has enabled 10 sites in that country, 10 garage services and 4 ports: Puerto Pacu Cua in Encarnación, SARCOM in Rosario, SARCOM San Antonio and Custodia in Villeta.
LDC has enabled 3 sites in Paraguay: 3 garages, a processing plant and two ports, Trociuk in Encarnación and Caiasa in Villeta.
In addition, in Brazil, in December 2019, Cataratas do Iguau Produtos Orgénicos Ltda rated 3 sites, a processing plant, two garage services and a transhipment in Paranagu, Paraná.
In November 2019, Sodrugestvo Turkey Tarim rated a processing plant in Turkey.
