Vice President Mike Pence was reportedly put on hold to temporarily assume the powers of the presidency. President Trump’s stopover in November 2019 at Walter Reed Hospital, according to an upcoming e-book through New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt.
In “Donald Trump v. Usa: In the Fight to Arrest a President,” the writer says he learned “in the hours leading up to Trump’s to the west wing, it was learned in the West Wing that the vice president was waiting to temporarily take over the presidency if Trump were to go through a procedure that would have required his anesthesia.” The source of this data is not revealed (of course).
On social media, rumors began to temporarily spread that it was due to a “brain event,” probably a stroke. But that is absolutely unfaithful and Schmidt even called those who spread the complaint.
The e-book doesn’t say anything about a “brain event.”That only says Pence on hold if they had to anesthetize Trump for an operation.
At the time, the White House said it had gone for a “quick review and lab analysis” of complete “parts” of its annual physical exam. The scale was not announced in advance as his previous physical exams. Then White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said she had enjoyed a rough day.
“Anticipating a busy 2020, the president is enjoying a weekend loose here in Washington, D.C., to begin the component of his annual regime physical exam at Walter Reed,” he said after Trump’s arrival at Walter Reed.
After the visit, the president said everything “great!
I visited a giant circle of relatives of a young man who underwent primary surgery at the amazing Walter Reed Medical Center. They are some of the most productive doctors in the world. I also began the first phase of my annual physical exam. Everything is fine (Excellent!). It will end next year.
