One of the issues raised Monday at President Donald Trump’s assembly with Laura Ingraham of Fox News was the national riots. The president has made it clear that he needs law enforcement to deal with violent troublemakers, not his supporters.
“Do your supporters face left-wing protesters?” Ingraham asked.
“No, ” intervened the president.
“Or leave it to the police?” She asked.
“No, I don’t need them, I need you to leave it to law enforcement,” Trump replied.”But my followers are wonderful, workers, other wonderful people and turn on their televisions and watch a Portland and watch a Kenosha, before I worry and avoid it, or see Chicago, where 78 other people were shot for the last time.Weekend Many other people died. Or watching New York, where violence increases, what, say, 150%?Several other people have come up and leave. They see everything and they can’t.You can’t. My supporter or not.”
