The Falcon nine rocket thruster used for release has already flown on June 30, putting a U.S. Space Force satellite into orbit. This will be the 11th operational flight of the Starlink satellite mega-constellation, designed to supply Internet across the globe. Each Starlink release has a batch of about 60 satellites and there are lately more than six hundred satellites in orbit.
Starlink has caused significant pain to astronomers, who claim that the satellites are bright enough to disrupt their images of the cosmos.SpaceX works with the astronomical network to minimize impacts, but there is a long way to go.Satellites are now introduced with “sun-stop” that makes them less reflective, however, at a recent satellite convention in the United States, there was only one suggestion for absolute impacts: releasing fewer or none LEO satellites.
