While many tournaments and leagues were suspended in the spring, many enthusiasts turned to documentaries to get their dose of sport.Fortunately, there was (and there’s still!) This is enough to focus on online streaming services.
Below is a list of some of the unique sports documentaries, as well as some of the most fun series.
The Last Dance (2020) – Netflix
Unless you’ve lived under a rock, heard it all in The Last Dance, and for good reason: whether you like basketball or even sports or not, this 10-part series is a must.
A film team gained unprecedented access to the Chicago Bulls in the 1997–98 season, which proved to be the last bankruptcy of their dynasty under coach Phil Jackson.
Most of the documentary focuses on Michael Jordan, however, other stars Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr and others play a role in making this sports series one of the biggest ever released.
All or nothing: Tottenham Hotspur (2020) – Amazon Prime
With the new All or Nothing offering, football enthusiasts can take a behind-the-scenes look at Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur.
The timing may not have been more opportune for this series of obstacles, as the crusade far from being boring for the Spurs, with coach Mauricio Pochettino replaced by Jose Mourinho in November.
It has not been easy for Mourinho to navigate since his arrival in North London; in fact, he’s as short as 1/14 with some soccer sites to be the next wiser coach to step down.

Sadio Mane – Made in Senegal (2020) – Rakuten
Made in Senegal tells the story of Sadio Mane’s adventure from a small town called Bembali to the most sensitive of European football.
The Liverpool striker paints a symbol of his training years and shows the efforts he had to make to play the game and verify to be discovered when he was young.
An injury almost put an abrupt end to Mane’s career, and even Jurgen Klopp did not convince through it when the pair first appeared, but it is enough to say that the 28-year-old has taken a step forward since.
This film is one of the many loose sports systems of the Rakuten television service.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive (2019) – Netflix
This collaboration between Netflix and Formula One has been won through critics and rightly so far two series of 10 episodes have been made and one is in progress.
While the most productive drivers attract all the attention of normal F1 coverage, Drive to Survive provides a fair view of what small groups and disruptions they face each week are like.
Guenther Steiner, director of the Haas team, is one of the stars of the series, as is the Australian driving force Daniel Ricciardo, whom the series discovers himself caught up in two minds about his future.
Andy Murray: Revivt (2019) – Amazon Prime
Many Andy Murray to be the greatest British sportsman of all time, in fact he is in conversation, but after fitting the first Briton to win several Wimbledon singles titles since Fred Perry in 1936, things have not been simple for the three-time Grand Slam champion..
As of 2017, injuries have begun to wreak havoc and this desirable Amazon documentary follows its progress as it fights everything.
It’s a very moving watch, but equally inspiring.
Tiger Woods: Back (2020) – Now TV
On April 14, 2019, the eyes of the world sport were on Tiger Woods at The Augusta National when the wonderful boy ended the story of his return to win the Masters tournament two years after undergoing back surgery for the fourth time.
In one of the new Sky Documentaries films, ‘Back’ tells the story of Woods’s rise and fall, and how he came back here against all odds.
The two-hour special includes interviews with golf legends such as Sir Nick Faldo, as well as a host of Americans who have been close to Tiger over the years.
Tiger Roll: Horse of a Lifetime (2020) – Betfair YouTube Channel
Winning the Grand National once is something only a few horses have controlled, however, Tiger Roll has managed to accomplish this feat two years in a row, fitting the first horse to do so since Red Rum in 1973 and 1974.
In preparation for what was meant to be his third attempt at successor, Betfair released a 45-minute documentary about the castrate, with data from coach Gordon Elliott and other connections.
Horse racing enthusiasts have had to settle for a Virtual Grand National in 2020 due to the cancellation of the genuine race, and it remains to be noted that Tiger Roll will win 3 times at Aintree in 2021.
