WWE is worried about a dispute over the logo of an adult entertainment company

WWE’s attempts by the “EVOLVE” logo hit a brick wall in the shape of the U.S. Patent

The USPTO rejected the promotional request on the grounds that it would probably be with “EF EVOLVED FIGHTS MIXED WRESTLING”, which is an existing trademark owned by Greatest of All Time Entertainment, LLC, to “provide an online page with entertainment data in adult entertainment.”

Sal Hamaoui (owner of the former EVOLVE parent company, WWN Live) had already attempted to record “EVOLVE” in November 2019, which was rejected due to unrest with the documentation, and the USPTO stated that “the specimen does not show the applied mark used in industry in relation to any of the products and/or specified in the application.”No reaction was emitted, leaving the mark abandoned.

WWE was introduced on August 4, following its recent resolution of acquiring the now-defunct independent promotion. Now they’ve found an obstacle.

EVOLVE ceased operations in early March, as the global fitness crisis forced the cancellation of the entire WrestleMania 36 weekend program, resulting in a monetary loss for the group.WWE has already downloaded its tape library to the network after purchase.
