People who illegally stream or download videos and television screens run a greater threat of hacking, phishing and viruses, according to a new report.
In a study conducted by Industry Trust for IP Awareness, a third of people who were illegally online were inflamed with malware, more than 14% since December 2019.
An increasing number of other people are also suffering fraud, having passed the main points of their credit cards to illegal transmission sites.

According to industry trust, 25% of those who provided primary payment points were billed several times, 26% suffered serious fraud.
Elsewhere, 31% of users were exposed to off-point content in the form of offensive ads and pop-ups.
“We need online entertainment audiences to enjoy the safest and most productive quality delight possible,” said Liz Bales, executive director of Industry Trust.
“While the temptation to see something first or to do it without paying can be attractive, especially at a time when customer confidence and economic customers are compromised by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s worth wondering whether to act on it The preference is to value risk.Fix especially when the truth is that you are more likely than ever to end up paying to attack your privacy and online security.”
The search comes when Christopher Nolan’s new film, Tenet, has been described as “the best typhoon for piracy.”
The film opens up in other territories around the world at other times, and in the United States, it would possibly not appear in theaters in major market cities such as New York and Los Angeles for some time, as they remain closed under the measures of blocking the coronavirus, meaning a demand for pirated copies will be high.
A ‘veteran’ of the fight against piracy told Variety: Somehow, Tenet is the best typhoon for piracy, as it has generated expectations, either about the film itself and about the cinematic experience.
“In addition, it has limited availability and suffers from a staggered exit.We see that piracy can everywhere. This happens even within 3 hours of U.S. departures from the east and west coasts.”
The film will be released in the UK on August 26, followed by a variety of American theaters on September 3.
