A shared Facebook post more than 10,000 times lists a series of promises President Donald Trump has made to his followers and claims to have fulfilled.
“Dear Trump supporters: Only 3 miles of wall have been built; Mexico has not paid; Hillary is not locked up; Obamacare has not been repealed; the deficit has soared; millions are unemployed; and being ‘once again’ America is the epicenter of a global pandemic,” the article said.”They all played.”
The message is a screenshot of a July 19 tweet from the Translate Trump account. His bio claims he provides “interpretations, concepts and fact-checks” of Trump’s tweets, and the account user declined to comment.
The user who posted the tweet on Facebook responded to a USA TODAY comment request.
Fact Check: Articles Claiming Cuomo Threatened Trump To New York Lack Context
It is true that the number of miles of wall built on the southern border is less than the amount promised through Trump, but it is not as low as the post states.
On September 1, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that 307 miles of the border wall had been completed.
However, the figure of “3 miles” refers to the number of new border wall miles that have been built.
On June 23, the Los Angeles Times reported that of the 216 miles built since Trump took office, 3 miles were “built in places where there used to be no barriers.”The rest were replacement walls or secondary to existing walls.
This figure also appears to be higher during the summer: on August 7, the San Antonio Express-News reported that of the 260 miles flowing at the time, a total of five miles was new.
Fact-checking: former U.S. presidents vary in public statements about Trump
Viral tweet statements are true.
Of the 275 miles of wall miles that have been built, Mexico has paid for them.
In 2019, a Trump aides said taxpayers pay the bill for the structure, according to CNN, and that there is no provision in the U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement to pay the wall, Trump has stated otherwise, according to Politico.
Hillary Clinton isn’t locked up either. A State Department investigation into its personal email server concluded that “there is no convincing evidence of systematic and planned mismanagement of classified information,” according to the Washington Post.
Clinton has not been charged or charged with any crime; let them “lock up” for them.

Obamacare has also been completely repealed. Congress has only repealed the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act, and the program is still in effect, according to Vox.
The federal deficit also has higher Trump.
Between 2017 and 2018, it increased by 28%. Between 2018 and 19, it rose 17% and surpassed $1 trillion for the first time since 2012, according to the New York Times.
Millions of Americans are also unemployed, much of the recent accumulation of unemployment appears to be attributable to the coronavirus pandemic. The unemployment rate rose from 3.6% in January to 14.7% in April and fell to 10.2% in July, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. That month, about 30 million employees made unemployment benefits, according to the New York Times.
And while the “epicenter” of the pandemic is difficult to define, the United States leads the world in reported cases of COVID-19 with more than 6 million out of a total of 25 million, according to the New York Times.
