DOVER – Thursday, October 1 marks Apple Harvest Day opening day at home, as it becomes virtual for the first time in its 36-year history.
Created through the Grand Dover Chamber of Commerce, appleharvestday. com, serves as the main platform for the festival. The occasion historically fills the streets of Dover with thousands more, but this year it takes on a new form amid the coronavirus. pandemic.
Instead of a day festival, the online page will be online in October. Visitors can move on to appleharvestday. com and click “buy” in the most sensitive right corner to search for a wide variety of suppliers.
Apple Harvest Day at Home vendors explored other tactics to be artistic with the new virtual platform, adding crafts by Peggy Thrasher Baskets and Craft of the Raven, a “Meet the Author” series from A Freethinker’s Corner Books
Jewelry, art, music, food and drink, wild animals and animals, shows, etc. will be exhibited.

Apple Harvest Day behind the wheel
Registrations began for October 17 at the recovery church in Dover. There will be children’s exhibits from 10 am to noon. Later in the afternoon, the WOKQ Apple Pie Baking pastry competition will be held from 3:30 pm 4:30 pm pm and Acoustic Radio will be held from 16:30 hours. at 6:30 p. m.
