Forbes publishes sixth annual list of America’s richest self-taught women

NEW YORK – October 13, 2020 – Forbes published the 2020 rating of America’s richest self-taught women.

· “Executive women and marketers are central to American business, and play key roles as task creators, change makers, and influencers,” said Kerry Dolan, Wealth’s deputy editor-in-chief at Forbes. “Recognizing their expanding impact, Forbes chose to highlight more of them this year. We discovered more women who built and helped expand some of the country’s best-known companies. “

· Women on Forbes’ sixth annual list have achieved unprecedented good fortune through invention and innovation. They broke the roofs and reached new heights, creating fortunes in everything from the aerospace and biotechnology industry to sports, entertainment and videoconferences.

· Diane Hendricks of ABC Supply crowned the list for the third year in a row.

· This year, 23 newcomers are on the list, adding SpaceX tennis star Gwynne Shotwell, tennis star Maria Sharapova, Kelly Steckelberg of Zoom Video Communications, TRUTH TV star and “momager” Kris Jenner, Google’s leading monetary officer Ruth Porat, and singer and actress Lady Gaga.
