California men’s basketball can resume training

BERKELEY, California (AP) – The California men’s basketball team returned to practice on Sunday, five days after pronouncing the practice suspension because a player did a coronavirus test.

Cal authorized to return to practice after a tactile investigation and tracking, and none of the others have tested positive for COVID-19, the school said. The player who tested positive, not publicly identified, is asymptomatic in isolation and will return once he completes his quarantine era and other medical evaluations are completed.

“We missed some valuable practices at a very critical time,” Coach Mark Fox said. “It’ll be wonderful to be back in the gym while we’re up to date. “
