Excavators have moved as the paintings begin to demolish Redcar’s iconic waterfront cinema.

Demolition and land movement began at the Regent before a 9. 86 million pound refurbishment.

A new fashion facility will be built on the existing one that will feature new film releases and more varied screenings.

The proposed designs for construction were made public in January and a consultation was conducted with members of the public.
