PHOENIX – President Donald Trump returns to Arizona for the sixth time this crusade season on Monday, heading north and south.
First, a midday rally at Prescott Regional Airport, where the president is scheduled to speak for a few minutes, followed by a meeting at 3 p. m. descent to Tucson, an event.
The re-election crusade follows a pre-month Arizona occasion that was canceled after Trump and his wife Melania Trump were diagnosed with a coronavirus and quarantined.
Officials in the city of Prescott said in a social media post that all participants would be subject to a temperature and would get a mask and hand sanitist.
Loriena Herron de Prescott camped in a parking lot, told KTAR News 92. 3 FM, to get a seat on one of the buses that will take her and others to the rally site.
“This is my first rally. [I’m] very excited,” Herron said.
Trump will then meet a crowd at the Tucson International Airport.
Mayor Regina Romero sent Trump a letter Friday reminding him of the city ordinance.
Romero shared the letter on social media.
“It would be deeply regrettable if a bachelor collection jeopardized all the progress we’ve made so far. That’s why I respectfully request that Trump’s crusade do everything it can to ensure that its local ordinances are met and follow its event,” he added. Romero wrote.
Trump last visited Arizona in September when he organized a roundtable at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix.
Arizona is a state of battle and the incumbent followed Democrat Joe Biden in a recent poll.
Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris visited Arizona after the election cycle ended.
KTAR News 92. 3 FM will stream Trump’s comments from Prescott starting at noon.
