Loser. com redirected to US President Donald Trump’s Wikipedia page in the days after the 2020 election.
In November 2020, shortly after major media outlets called the 2020 presidential election and projected that Joe Biden would be the 46th president of the United States, social media users saw that Loser. com’s online page was redirecting to one location: the president of the United States. Donald Trump Wikipedia page:
This is at least the moment Trump has clashed with this website. In 2016, after Trump arrived at the time at the Iowa Caucus (a result that led to Trump’s unfounded accusations of voter fraud), Loser. com redirected the audience to Trump’s Wikipedia page.
The online page Loser. com, owned by comic book Brian Connelly since 1995, has been used to troll various Americans and organizations over the years, including Kanye West, Wikileaks and the President of the United States, Barack Obama. In 2015, Connelly told the Daily Beast that loser. com does not redirect other people who it thinks are losers:
As the site receives a lot of traffic, Connelly redirects it to the positions it supports to give them more eyes, like the Obama site or the WikiLeaks site in 2010.
“It was positive, ” he said. I also redirect to things that are positive, and what was revealed in this case can be considered quite bad. Being kind to conditions and teaching other people is pretty positive, I think.
If you found it amusing Loser. com redirected to Trump’s Wikipedia page, you can search for “loser” on Twitter. We’ll give you an estimate of the first account that appears.
