A chain of films has revealed how its new Bridgwater branch can be seen as a component of plans to regenerate the progress of the city’s Northgate site.
Scott Cinemas recently posted on Facebook that he expects the paintings to begin in January, after the Sedgemoor District Council has approved his license application.
The new cinema is one of the city council’s ambitious multi-million dollar plans to rebuild the Northgate site.
The authority, which owns theArray, approved an application to turn it into a recreational park in October 2019.
The detailed application, which covers a lot of pages, describes the city council’s vision of building a seven-screen cinema, restaurants, bars, a gym, parking lot and an open space in the existing Mount Street car park.

The authority believes that the allocation of several million euros will be “an addition to the city centre, creating vitality, dynamism and key recreational activities for the developing city”.
Scott Cinemas posted images on his Facebook page that showed what the new cinema would look like once it was finished.
The seven-screen cinema will be spread over two floors and will have seven screens.
Five of them will be traditional cinema auditoriums, one of which will be a luxury studio screening room, while the seventh screen will be a luxury auditorium.
Inside the luxury studio auditorium, there will be a capacity for 32 other people with giant seats, a giant screen and a public uptake system.
The high-end auditorium at ground time will have a reduced capacity, but will feature reclining seating and its own VIP living room and bar.
Scott cinemas will also play screenplays, musicals and even primary sporting events on the site.
