Ninth up: England 77-1 (Buttler 21, Malan 38) Quentin de Kock, who makes fewer bowling adjustments than Eoin Morgan, if Linde finishes his fate, but possibly regrets it when Malan throws himself into cover. to get rid of him and missed a golden chance when the batters flew for a moment and Bavuma’s exemplary pitch failed through De Kock. Sportingly, De Kock raised both hands, a move he may also have stored to officers about 3 minutes after verification that he was not. Now we have drizzle, with England right in front of Duckworth-Lewis-Stern.
8th up: England 69-1 (Buttler 20, Malan 31) Suddenly turning both ends as Tabraiz Shamsi sticks out her left wrist, Malan imperiously salutes him, with a reverse sweep for four, he overtook Buttler, which is not carried out in cue ball cricket – Zak Crawley achieved his monstrous partnership in the last test in England. Twelve overs remaining and 123 required.
7th up: England 61-1 (Buttler 18, Malan 25) Linde returns, and is still tight. Buttler attempts an opposite scan, but it is only about ten meters long and possibly would not have the desired effect of reorganizing the field. Linde won 3 passes out of 18, one win under the circumstances, and the required rate exceeds 10.
6th up: England 56-1 (Buttler 16, Malan 22) Malan celebrates his pardon with a cut to four, then there are some singles, before the deficient Ngidi makes a draw and Buttler makes the buffet. the most productive of the series, ends with England at the top.
Malan survives. What Buttler saw perfect.
Lungi Ngidi’s first ball is good, he hit in the middle, but did he throw it into the open air with his leg? Buttler thinks that could possibly be the case, so we have a review. He called the RoyArray . . .
5th up: England 45-1 (Buttler 11, Malan 16) When Roy leaves, Linde can take a break. Then comes Lutho Sipamla, Rabada’s understudy, who plays a half-fast muscular game. It starts without a ball, called curiously late, and the loose kick is a genuine price ticket: a short ball out of the leg, which Malan only has to help on his way to six. Sipamla recovers well, beating Buttler abroad.
“Gary Naylor may be right,” says John Starbuck, echoing the considered point of ’15. “Possibly the evolution of shorter forms, as in the IPL, is basically positioned on subcontinental terrain, not known for Its swing as in England. Yes, I know we invented the ODI and T20, yet the prospect of bowling must have discouraged a lot of hitters and, as we all know, they’re the ones who dictate the game. Border shots are the main force of attraction. That’s true, however, the less difficult a game is for hitters, the more likely it is to be won through a bowler: one in each and two spells of 20 can be decisive.
4th up: England 34-1 (Buttler 9, Malan 8) Buttler had just made up for a slow start by shooting Nortje from the front foot to six, and Dawid Malan, who is a slow player, leaves the blocks with a draw for 4 and a shot for four more.
First blood in Nortje! His pace, and a small backward movement at the seam, are too much for the poor Roy, who leaves as a character, weighing the overall on his shoulders, controlled 16 of 14 balls, which is far from terrible.
3rd up: England 18-0 (Roy 16, Buttler 2) Roy manages to break Linde by two, holds a couple of points and then nevertheless sweeps him by four. Double digits! A short ball fails, but dances on the loft track last six. It was England’s first major success: they only needed 17 more.
2nd up: England 6-0 (Roy 4, Buttler 2) Armed with a new bat, Roy skillfully uses it to divert Nortje by two backwards, then to a bachelor for the third man. It’s already one of Roy’s innings in 2020. Jos Buttler opens his account with a two-way draw in the midwicket, pressed but controlled.
1. 1 overs: England 1-0 (Roy 1, Buttler 0) At the other end, is a quick right-handed in the form of Anrich Nortje, Norkear said. With his first ball, he coldly breaks Roy’s bat.
1st up: England 1-0 (Roy 1, Buttler 0) It’s Jason Roy’s worst nightmare: opening up in opposition to George Linde, the little-known slow left arm he was given the other day. Roy does well to eliminate a bachelor from the moment of the ball. But Linde did well, too, moving on to jos Buttler 4 points. South Africa is at the top.
“With regard to signaling for players,” says Gary Naylor, “I think those are Jofra and Sam’s seats on the return flight. It seems like where their minds are right now. “Good plaster, but difficult for Sam Curran, who stood absolutely. He pulled out the fake shot that was van der Dussen’s defeat in ’19, and then did his best to make a two-race catch on the edge. We can also forgive Jofra: he spent too much time in the bubbles this year and played many smart spells.
Of its first 11 overs, South Africa controlled only 70; of the next four, he added 37, larger but not yet spectacular. The final 16, played through Tom Curran, charge 16, then du Plessis and van der Dussen leaned on Jofra Archer of all, helping himself to 22, the maximum Archer had conceded on a T20 plus.
One of Jordan was then for nine, one by Sam Curran for 17, and the last, from Jordan, to 20. It was a wonderful demonstration to hit clean. If there had been a crowd, they’d be delighted.
It turns out that on england’s balcony there were posters saying things like 4E, which appear to have been messages from the team analysts to the captain and the bowlers. Complete notes for innovation, and none to have an effect, unless they aggravate South Africans. and motivate this bombardment.
20th up: South Africa 191-3 (du Plessis 52, van der Dussen 74) The thankless bowling task is for Jordan, which begins with a full draw, duly cut for 4 through van der Dussen. 111, a new SA record for the fourth window of the T20. Van der Dussen scored with a six who is a kind of right sweep, on one knee. This is the most productive in T20 internationals. Jordan did well to award only one two on the next ball, and then even manage a point, however, the fifth is a meek-length ball that goes for another six in a row. The last ball is technically dropped, while Sam Curran throws himself almost above the bound of the deep square and tries to pass the package to Archer, but fails to do so.
The association is 127, uninterrupted, in 66 balls, a fabulous change after a comfortable start. The last five advances gave 84. Can England fit that in?
19th plus: South Africa 171-3 (du Plessis 52, van der Dussen 54) Here’s Sam Curran, who persuades van der Dussen to make his way to his brother until the third man, but TC stops, thinking Archer’s on this and Curran Jr is satisfied with his older brother. du Plessis plays a loft square drive for four, then an off-drive loft, also for four, to raise society to one hundred – 103 with only 59 balls. It’s huge. And then du Plessis recovers his fifty 37 balls with a one-handed cut to a width: 17 of the shots, and for the first time, South Africa is in control. The only smart news for England is that Stokes is back on the field.
18th above: South Africa 154-3 (du Plessis 40, van der Dussen 51) du Plessis dropped Jordan mid-race, the first ball, and they are still six. Jordan fights back with a point, but then delivers a nasty projector that du Plessis wears in his glove. By redeeming himself, Jordan produced a very good yorker on the outside – Faf kicked himself for not having it. Nine at the top, which is almost a victory for England after the carnage of the last hour.
17 more: South Africa 145-3 (du Plessis 33, van der Dussen 50) Morgan summons Archer to stop the flow, and does not paint: van der Dussen shoots for six, then marches for four and provides Stokes, in the long run, in addition to a finger injury: there is blood on the hands of the person who picked up this ad. Stokes is remedied and Sam Billings continues. Undeterred, van der Dussen scores a 4 in a row, 34 of the last 10 balls. Archer drives a point with a gorilla, but when he throws, sit back van der Dussen slog-sweets for six more. One shovel on the leg and two hard ones take Van der Dussen to fifty of only 23 balls. It’s a revelation. That plus, which costs 22, is the dearest Archer ever played on a T20. Are you England in disguise?
16th up: South Africa 123-3 (du Plessis 33, van der Dussen 28) Tom Curran returns and Faf greets him with six in a row. A single evokes the association of fifty out of 36 balls, then Faf swings for six more. in the most sensible, you can even say that the game is activated.
15th plus: South Africa 107-3 (du Plessis 20, van der Dussen 25) Back, Jordan, he immaculate figures, meaning we have already come to death. It goes for one, one, one, one, one – and in spite of all four, as van der Dussen digs up the hole in the middle of the deep field with a net clip. Nine at the top, and this has to be for beginners only.
It’s time to take a look at Gary Naylor. ” It turns out that whether bowling is fast, medium or slow, test cricket is a matter of lateral movement (in the air and off the field) and T20I and ODI bowling are a matter of variation. rhythm (in the air and outside the transverse seam. ). I suspect few bowlers will do it soon enough. This is a very attractive point, which I will leave for the massive OBO debate.
14th up: South Africa 98-3 (du Plessis 17, van der Dussen 19) Back comes Archer, and Plessis the muscle, the center of the square for four. Archer responds with a slow uprising that hits Faf in the glove. in T20 would have had two catches now. Go to Eoin, you know what you want.
13th up: South Africa 90-3 (du Plessis 11, van der Dussen 17) After missing 4 sixes in the series, van der Dussen has not yet achieved a 4, so far, when he plays a muscle pull. These are the first 4 awarded through Rashid, who finished 0-20 in his 4 over. And he’s not today’s top economic bowling player, that is, Jordan, whose numbers are 1-0-4-1.
12th up: South Africa 84-3 (du Plessis 10, van der Dussen 12) There is something left to do, and Faf du Plessis is doing so with the utmost sensitivity of Stokes’ premeditated films. I probably would have invented a new trait, the ramped tingling. Rassie van der Dussen, inspired, shoots for six, I guess with the utmost sensible advantage, but everyone counts. Now, SA just wants a few more changes like this.
11th up: South Africa 70-3 (du Plessis 5, van der Dussen 3) Rashid, click back, play 4 singles. South Africans are looking to turn the T20 into a cricket test.
Tenth up: South Africa 66-3 (du Plessis 3, van der Dussen 1) So it’s well finished for England, and at the midpoint, South Africa is left behind a little more than one ball.
In the meantime, I won an email, of all things. “I see, ” said Matthew Doherty, “that Hendricks has a slow bowling!”Say ah.
A shot, a cut and a weak, sharp catch, then Buttler issued this getaway, and Stokes has his chance for now. Come on, South Africa, bigger than that.
9th up: South Africa 63-2 (Hendricks 13, du Plessis 1) Adil Rashid takes the opportunity to perform an over when Faf calms down and grants two singles. “It’s beautiful, man, ” says Jos Buttler.
8th change: South Africa 61-2 (Hendricks 12, du Plessis 0) Morgan makes his fourth bowling replacement in 4 overs, bringing in Ben Stokes. Hendricks treats him with a healthy disrespect, sending his first ball with a scratchy blanket player, yet Bavuma dutifully walks away. Stokes has a tendency to have that effect on people.
Another bowling change, another halfway. Bavuma was smart while it lasted, but it didn’t last long enough to shape the game.
7th plus: South Africa 52-1 (Bavuma 28, Hendricks 7) If the PowerPlay ends, it will have to be time for Adil Rashid, who beats Hendricks with a big drift, but Bavuma sweeps it for six.
6th about: South Africa 44-1 (Bavuma 21, Hfinishricks 6) Tom Curran succeeds Archer, and gets Hfinishricks to be thrown through Jos Buttler, flashing into a long ball. To carry an insult injury, the ball lasts four. This is the end of PowerPlay, known as Powerade PowerPlay in those parts, which doesn’t make it more powerful. England is ahead of the dots, however, it is hard to say with this sticky window.
5th up: South Africa 36-1 (Bavuma 18, Hendricks 1) Sam Curran had given way to Chris Jordan, who tricked Kock with his slowest ball before pulling him out. Then England almost added another wicket while Bavuma took a narrow bachelor for Ben Stokes, who could not touch a single strain. In a replacement to the announced batting order, Reeza Hendricks drove in front of Far du Plessis.
He is bigger! De Kock goes straight to the track this time, and regrets it giving Tom Curran a comfortable shot mid-race.
4th plus: South Africa 32-0 (from Kock 16, Bavuma 16) Four, then six, you say?Whatever Bavuma can do, De Kock can do with an extra touch of magic. He passes Archer with a thin leg, then throws him into a deep square East entered the construction and came out.
3rd up: South Africa 20-0 (from Kock 5, Bavuma 15) Curran continues, kock escapes with a dubious run to Archer’s short, thin leg, then Bavuma throws the party: a sweater for four, a whip for six. The crowd would go crazy if they were there.
2nd up: South Africa 6-0 (from Kock 3, Bavuma 3) Jofra Archer is a global hitter in this format and, of course, beats Bavuma’s bat with a long ball that cuts the seam. Single mid-career. Kock’s Quentin also gets a bachelor, but almost plays in the process. Jofra’s legal stuff.
1st up: South Africa 4-0 (from Kock 2, Bavuma 2) Curran’s first 3 balls pass to singles, and the fourth, a leveur of Temba Bavuma, would take a wicket if there is a short stretch. There’s some other bachelor to finish, and it’s a good start for England.
It will be Sam Curran who will open the process. He went from marginal to central player in two games.
The series would possibly be decided, but it turns out there’s something in this game. If England win, it will rank No. 1 in the T20 world rankings, knocking Australia off its pedestal. That feels good.
Cricket wouldn’t be cricket without a word from Gary Naylor. “The absence of fans,” he says, “has affected the aesthetics of sports viewing. The cycling circuit was naked and charming, but cricket was going in any direction. The stadiums looked even more,” heartless, but the pitches were more beautiful than ever. Now get rid of the ads. ” Good luck with that.
South Africa 1 Quentin de Kock (capt, wkt), 2 Temba Bavuma, 3 Faf du Plessis, four Rassie van der Dussen, five Pite van Biljon, 6 Reeza Hendricks, 7 George Linde, 8 Anrich Nortje, nine Lungi Ngidi, 10 Lutho Sipamla, 11 Tabraiz Shamsi.
England 1 Jason Roy, 2 Jos Buttler (week), 3 Dawid Malan, four Jonny Bairstow, five Ben Stokes, 6 Eoin Morgan (capt), 7 Sam Curran, 8 Chris Jordan, nine Tom Curran, 10 Jofra Archer, 11 Adil RashidArray
Kagiso Rabada is fit, which is a blow to South Africa and a disgrace to fans of fast bowling. The guy who has to fill his shoes is Lutho Sipamla.
Eoin Morgan resists the temptation to play, which is tricky for Moeen Ali and Mark Wood. Morgan says he would have hit the first one, too.
Surprising selection: Perhaps Kock thinks the surface, which is the same as the one used the other day, will be even slower as the night progresses.
Good afternoon to you all and welcome to the last episode of an entertaining miniseries. If you prefer your game to have too much tension, you’re in the right place: the series is already won and splashed. The know-how of England’s white ball, freshly perfected in the IPL, proved too much for a South African team that did well to get to the area due to mischief in its convention hall.
Today’s game, as the first, takes a position in Cape Town, in the well-known old box now known as Six Gun Grill Newlands. If it is not exactly worthy, the call is appropriate in a safe way. England has brought in six gun hitters, as the players like to say, and each and every game so far has made a decision through one of them: Jonny Bairstow with an explosive 86, not 48 balls, then Dawid Malan with a 55 plus measured 40. Today, Eoin Morgan expects the star to be Jason Roy, who has collected only 63 numbers in eight foreign innings since the blockade. Even your writing rate has collapsed, it’s 74 instead of your usual 120 odds, which will actually reposition if you can stay long enough to get your attention.
South Africans have a more basic goal: money laundering. For Kock’s Quentin, any past wins will be enough to build some confidence before the 50th series that follows on Friday. See you right after 15:30 GMT for the draw and the teams.
