NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) – The SoutheastErn Conference named Vanderbilt’s kicker Sarah Fuller as the league week’s co-special after making history by being the first woman to play in a Power Five convention football game.
Fuller shared the award Monday with Florida kicker Kadarius Toney after senior football player Vanderbilt kicked more sensibly in a loss to Missouri, who sent a 30-foot kick that covered Missouri 35 to open the moment portion in his only shot.
Vanderbilt’s kicker has become the third woman to play in the Football Bowl subdivision, joining Katie Hnida, who was the first to score two more numbers for New Mexico on August 30, 2003 and April Goss, who had an additional point for Kent State in 2015.
Fuller continues with Vanderbilt, who travels to Georgia on Saturday No. 11 Fuller helped Vanderbilt win the name of the Southeastern Conference women’s tournament on November 22.
