Firoz Madhani, 66, would have posted statements on Twitter in which he glorified terrorist acts and encouraged acts of violence.

Madhani, Duff Street, also allegedly incited violence opposed to allegations by governments on social media between September 2 and 21 last year.

He gave the impression today at the Edinburgh Sheriff’s Court and called for not blaming two charges under the Terrorism Act 2000. He’ll be back in court for trial next April.

Madhani also denied an accusation of expressing a favorable opinion of Hezbollah and posting messages on the terrorist organization’s social media on September 2 last year.

Hezbollah is a terrorist organization through at least 21 european Union countries and the highest number of Arab League member states since 2017.
