One of the disorders with the Trump administration, but still the natural evil, rampant nepotism, rank incompetence, large-scale corruption, and attempts to overthrow democracy, is that pretty much everything she really falls into the ‘I can’t do that shit’ category. For example, we knew donald Trump was an abject racist who has become absolutely anti-Semitic in a room full of Jews in at least one case and cannot dare repudiate white supremacists. But it would be a little exaggerated to know that his White House had appointed a guy he fired for rubbing shoulders with white nationalists on a commission that is helping to maintain Holocaust-related sites. And even!
Darren Beattie, who was fired in 2018, has been appointed a member of the Commission for the Preservation of American Heritage Abroad for a three-year term that will last in the next administration. Beattie’s dismissal follows the revelation that two years earlier he had participated in a panel with Peter Brimelow, the founder of the anti-immigrant online page VDare, which the Southern Poverty Law Center called an “online hate page. “The commission, founded in 1985, is guilty of identifying and preserving cemeteries and historic buildings in Europe, adding sites used to basically kill Jews during the Holocaust.
Beattie’s dismissal from the White House follows years of complaints that the Trump administration has fostered anti-immigrant sentiment and ties to white nationalists. Shortly after Trump, the White House issued one on Holocaust Remembrance Day that did not mention Jews. in 2017, the president was denounced after noting that there were “other very intelligent people on both sides” after a protester was killed at a neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. . . A White House spokesman declined to comment.
“Surely it is outrageous that a user who has been linked to racists deserves to even be edited for a position on a commission committed to preserving Holocaust monuments in Europe,” said Anti-Defamation League DIRECTOR Jonathan Greenblatt. in a statement. ” We urge management to terminate their appointment without delay. “In response, Beattie made his most productive impression on Trump, saying, “The ADL claims to be an organization that protects Jews, but it actually exists to protect Democrats. As a Jewish supporter of Trump, it is an honor to be attacked through the far-left ADL and its disgraced leader, Jonathan Greenblatt.
Last year, Hanukkah’s feast at the White House brought evangelical Christian leader Robert Jeffress, a pastor who, among other things, once said that religions like Judaism “lead others to an eternity of separation from God in hell. “Look what’s up their sleeve this year!
