KOEI TECMO: Europe and North America temporarily close for cyberattack

As generation progresses, data risk becomes increasingly widespread. Companies like Sony have had to deal with this for a long time since their first security breach with Playstation Network in the Playstation 3 era. Unfortunately, those risks are gone.

Instead of compromising data into the game system, it turns out that game developers are also in danger of being victims of a cyberattack. Koei Tecmo Entertainment was the last most recent victim of a cyberattack; however, he did not seem to target his sites in English until Christmas. For this reason, the sites were forced to close while temporarily investigating the violation.

At the moment, the corporation has shown that it sees no sign of compromising monetary information, but is still investigating the intensity of success. Since the English sites were the only ones that have been violated, it turns out that the scale of the attack was unsuccessful in society as a whole, fortunately. KT hasn’t added anything else, but be sure to keep an eye out for more updates.
