Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might have started 2020 on a rough note, but they are rounding out the year in style. Earlier this week, they featured their Archewell Audio podcast on Spotify, where listeners heard Baby Archie’s Voice for the first time. On the last day of the year, her online page Archewell and her project tell us what to expect in 2021.
The grey and white background features two moving images: Prince Harry sitting on the shoulders of Princess Diana and Meghan wrapped in the arms of her mother Doria Ragland. The feeling they shared on the homepage is so personal: “I’m my mother’s son. And I’m our son’s mom. Together, we bring them to Archewell,” reads in the couple’s 2021 Letter.
The duo talk about their concepts for their nonprofit and what they need to focus on over the next year. “We are in the most productive of humanity. Because we’ve noticed the most productive thing about humanity. We have experienced the compassion and kindness of our mothers and strangers,” they write. “In the face of fear, struggle and pain, it can be easy to lose sight of that. Together, we can decide to put compassion into action.
“We invite you to register with us as we paint to build a bigger world, one act of compassion at a time,” concludes the letter with their signed signatures, “Harry and Meghan. “
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have completed precisely what they planned to do, although their critics said it would not be possible. Of course, they had quite a few stumbles along the way, but they discovered a way forward in their philanthropy while also freed themselves from the strict protocols of real life and gave their son a more personal life away from the media. It’s a remarkable end to a year that began with his move from Canada to Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills. mansion for his own home in Montecito a global pandemic.
This sets the level for them to have a significant effect in the coming year and for all those parties to the conflict to be wrong after they resigned as members of the royal family. And we were promised earlier in the year that Archewell’s release would come “when the time is right,” and that time has come.
