It was a great night for the Michigan basketball program and Howard’s circle of relatives as a whole, as the Wolverines controlled to manage Northwestern 85-66 to stay in the wiser place in the Big Ten Conference on Sunday night.

For head coach Juwan Howard, Sunday also meant something special to him.

While the Wolverines were late, Howard’s son Jace Howard was able to watch the final minutes of the game in the box with other members of the bench. Young Howard controlled to score the first numbers of his career on the board after a sneaky run to the basket with a layup and a chance.
