Salem High School athletes will take part in the game this winter after all.

After a month of waiting due to emerging coronavirus rates and logistical considerations about indoor play in the middle of the pandemic, Salem Public Schools gave the go-ahead to start in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, gymnastics and swimming on Saturday.

“We are very happy to begin,” Salem Public Schools said in a statement. “As you can imagine, there are some updates and new ones for participation. “

These needs come with a flu vaccine for all athletes and weekly coronavirus tests.

Salem Free Student Check Before Returning to Hybrid Learning
