Southern actor Adivi Sesh announced Friday the release of his new film “Major”, which is about the life of the martyr of Mumbai’s 2008 terrorist attack, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is expected to be released in theaters around the world on July 2. .
Sesh will play the lead role in the biographical film directed through Sashi Kiran with tracks such as Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma.
Adivi Sesh headed to Twitter to announce the release of his dream assignment, along with a poster for the film. He wrote: “The strength of courage. The allocation of my dreams #MajorTheFilm delayed by July 2, 2021 in cinemas around the world”
“Major” is through the life of Major Sandeep, the brave NSG commando, who rescued several hostages in the 26/11 attack on the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai and sacrificed his life for the nation.
Major Sandeep awarded the Ashoka Chakra, the army’s greatest peacetime honor in India.
The film is produced through Sony Pictures Films India with GMB Entertainment and A S Movies through Mahesh Babu.
