Saratoga County will allow high-risk sports seasons to begin on Monday, subject to certain conditions.
Supervisory board chairman Todd Kusnierz said the county is creating a plan that will depend on the cooperation and approval of local forums before any competition. The county is the time in the region to have mild green for high-risk sports, after Rensselaer County.

On Friday, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and his fitness commissioner presented others on an investigation that found that the state had underestimated deaths of nursing homes connected to the coronavirus by 50 percent.
At a press convention Friday, Cuomo argued that Attorney General Letitia James’ report released Thursday showed that everything State Health Commissioner Howard Zucker had said over the following year, there are differences between James’ findings and Zucker’s earlier statements about Department of Health rules that required admission of COVID-19 patients to nursing homes.
The Attorney General’s report said the practice would possibly have a greater threat of COVID-19 infections in collective services, a perception that was widely rejected in a Department of Health report published in July.

Albany County reported its 304th coronavirus during the night.
The county director, Dan McCoy, said he died a 50-year-old. The county also saw 171 new cases and thirteen more hospitalized citizens.
Of the new cases, 111 did not have a transparent source of transmission, 49 were in close contact with a positive case, 10 were fitness care and one user reported leaving the state while traveling.
There are currently 162 residents hospitalized, 11 in intensive care.
