NEW YORK (AP) – James Harden will miss Sunday’s game with the Brooklyn Nets in Washington, preventing his first game with Russell Westbrook since they left Houston.
Harden added to the injury report on Sunday due to a left thigh concussion. It’s going to be their first game since the Nets acquired it from Houston this month.
NBA’s best assist, Harden, added 25 points, assists and 10 rebounds on Friday when the Nets defeated Oklahoma City 147-125.
Harden and Westbrook played in combination last season, helping the Rockets succeed in the circular moment of the playoffs. Harden was then forced to be redeemed, but Westbrook was first redeemed to Washington by John Wall.
