EL PASO, Texas – For Savannah Grajeda, 16, her non-public outfits of the day can now be yours and all thanks to Instagram and a new outfit app called Teleport.
“So with Instagram, I enjoyed other looks and just show who you really are,” savannah Grajedga said.
For her family, she is known as Savannah Grajeda, to her followers, and is known as the former Savannah Sky.
“When they know me, that’s who I am. I’m very colorful. I’m very different. It’s like my pictures reflect who I am inside,” Grajeda said.
It’s those images that got the attention of the CEO of a new app based in Los Angeles, Teleport.
“Then I was invited to be part of your team. Be an influencer and be teleport’s face,” Grajeda said.
Teleport is a fashion app that features influential people in other outfits. The app allows subscribers to buy any outfit they like just by touching their phone.
“Whether it’s your jeans, pants or shoes, you take little videos of them and then identify where they were given them to you. So when you post it, on the global you can watch this video. If they like what you’re wearing, they can buy it directly from the app,” Grajeda said.
Becoming a member of the Teleport team means that Grajeda has the opportunity to appear on the online app page as well as on the social networking site. She hopes joining Teleport will help her continue to increase her Instagram audience and has a smart recommendation for those hoping to one day become influencers.
“You just have to do what you love. Go all the way. That’s what I did. I publish my outfits. Whether they’re crazy or weird, just do what you love and see what happens because a door can open,” Grajeda. Said.
Although fitting in with an influencer is the sensible thing about Grajeda’s dream to-do list, she also has a pastime in editing and hopes to be a film editor after graduating from Pebble Hills High School.
