The Bruins spend the ’90s with fashion selections ahead of Lake Tahoe’s game in front of the Flyers

Arguably no one adheres to a hockey game theme like the Boston Bruins. They proved it once the Sunday before their game with the Flyers in Lake Tahoe. Before Boston took the ice sheet on the 18th hole of Tahoe Golf Course, they arrived at the game dressed in 90s-era clothing, adding bright colors, antique clothing and nostalgic accessories.

Neon snow suits? Fanny backpacks?Do you have a walkman on your hip? Incredible commitment and control.

The Bruins goalkeeper, Jaroslav Halak, went even further dressed in an imitation mule under his cap as he took the ice to warm up.

David Pastrnak paid tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage.

Between the beautiful and picturesque scenery of Lake Tahoe and the outfits of the Bruins players, there were many attractions to appreciate before sunset for the game.

This is rarely the first time the Bruins have fully embraced the environment and landscape before a game. Prior to the 2019 Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium, Boston players appeared in outdated “Peaky Blinders” costumes that fit the event’s old-fashioned atmosphere.
