LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – Shakira Austin had 22 problems and 12 rebounds, Madison Scott had a double-double and Mississippi overthrew 19th Kentucky for the time being this season, winning 73-69 on Sunday.
Two below-average offensive performances opposed to the Rebels, who have won four convention games, took the Wildcats to fifth place, with a permit, for next week’s Southeast Conference tournament.
