Tom Lee provides Bitcoin’s long-term bullish case and why it’s bigger than gold

Tom Lee of FundStrat, who has called for the return of cryptocurrencies in recent years and an uptick in the inventory market in 2020, told CNBC PRO why the Bitcoin source crisis makes it a smart long-term bet.

While cryptography experts agree that we have over a hundred years to run out of bitcoin, the fact that there is an expiration date is a great component of what provides price to the world’s largest cryptocurrency.

There will only be 21 million bitcoins because, like other cryptocurrencies, it was based on the precept of limited supply. The total amount of bitcoins extracted is approximately 18. 6 million, so it is reaching its maximum threshold.
