This week, pop superstar Katy Perry gave the impression on Jimmy Kimmel Live!To talk about the new motherhood (“the most productive resolution of my life,” she says) and to announce the new season of American Idol, of which Perry is dressed for that matter in a dazzling Dundas outfit, however, her surprising look of good looks made us think she had traveled back in time. Perry has replaced her recently discolored blonde hair, to a darker shade that channels her initial glory.
When Perry first noticed with his hits “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot N Cold” in the past decade of 2000, he reached the level with his now iconic look of good looks: black locks framing his face. It’s a look he’s kept for the most of his career, adding at the time of his popular mega albums, “One of the Boys” and Teenage Dream. “In 2017, however, the singer opted for a radically new hairstyle, leprechaun cut and peroxide, and has been a faithful blonde ever since.
However, don’t get too excited about Perry’s long raven-colored renaissance in Kimmel: it’s not permanent. Executed through her stylist Jesús Guerrero, the ambitious new look is the result of a well-placed wig. “Everything’s wrong. ” Perry said in an Instagram story after the appearance, in which she is noticed again with her shorter blonde hair: “I wanted to take Katy to her roots by sending them back to her black hair,” Guerrero told Vogue. it’s fun, fresh and embraces a soft texture with layers and stirs. The key is to make it look effortless, which OGX textured spray and dry coconut shampoo helped me achieve.
He also deceived Kimmel: “You look fantastic: I never know how long your hair is going to be, what color your hair will be,” he said on the show. “I like to keep other people out of their seats, ” replied Perry. “When Mom has a night off, she leans completely. “
