Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have 30 days to secure a place and date for their two hundred million pound mega fight, or they threaten to collapse the deal.
He announced Monday that heavyweight world champions signed a two-fight contract after months of negotiations.
The fight is expected to take place on July 26 or July 3, but now they have a month to agree on this and a host country.
Saudi Arabia remains in pole position because of its ability to pay enough fees for Joshua and Fury to earn a hundred million pounds each.
But Singapore, Macau and the United States are also in the race, as are Middle Eastern countries.
And a source told ESPN, “It’s pending, locate a place and an appropriate date for anyone (fighter camps). We have 30 days from the signing, otherwise the agreement can disappear. “
Fury and Joshua agreed to a 50/50 monetary allocation last summer, but only recently reached a point where they were in a position to sign.
And while there is no shortage of donations to accommodate, the challenge is to locate a suitable place for the existing pandemic.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said: “We would like to get confirmation of an agreement on the site next month. The hardest component is getting everyone to write the document. But it has been a major effort across all components to achieve this.
“You had rival promoters, rival networks and rival fighters.
“Actually, I think we made it harder. Speaking to me, Anthony and his team at the helm of 258, I know how hard he’s been running for the last few months and I think this fight is so hard to promote.
“We’ve already had approaches to 8 or sites. Donations came here from several countries in the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe and America.
“This is the biggest boxing match and one of the most important occasions in the world. It will be a primary victory for a country that needs to be shown. “
Although Covid-19 has paid for the match at Wembley, there is hope that the leg will take a position in Cardiff in November or December.
The winner of the first match would be guaranteed 60% relief in the bag for the rest of the day.
