FOX 2 – The state suggests that Michigan citizens departing or returning from spring break for a COVID-19 test.
On Friday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the State Department of Health published a list of 37 state-wide contextual sites that will be available.
“Students and families traveling through Michigan, to other states, or outdoors in the country would possibly be exposed to and transported with COVID-19. This, in turn, can also fuel epidemics within their families and the communities where they live or visit. “said the state in a version.
The state recommends that those traveling be checked one to 3 days before traveling with the precaution of not leaving if the result is positive. Returnees deserve control 3 to five days after their vacation and stay at home and quarantine this time. Do not check, stay in the house and quarantine for 10 days after the holiday.

“Better days are coming with vaccines for all Michiganns starting April 5, however, there are still critical efforts we want to make to curb the spread of COVID-19,” Whitmer said. “COVID-19 remains a risk to our families and communities, and we inspire Michiganns to get tested for COVID-19 and make it less difficult with those additional test sites across the state.
