Investigations into the cause of the chimney and damage continue.
Kevin Fisher, Director of Property, Facilities and Health and Safety at Wakefield City Hall, said: “We were informed through firefighters of a small fireplace at ABC Cinema over the weekend.
“We will inspect the construction to make sure there is no significant damage to be solved and paint to make the construction safer. “
