The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra arrives at the “Classic Heights” with works by Sergei Prokofiev and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at Stella Boyle Smith’s fifth concert in the 2020-2021 Masterworks series, 7:30 p. m. Saturday and 3 p. m. Sunday in front of a face-to-face audience at Robinson Center Performance Hall, 426 W. Markham St. on Broadway, Little Rock.
The Covid-19 protocols, masking and social distancing will be implemented.
In the program: “Symphony No. 1” through Prokofiev, the “Classic”; Mozart’s “Concertante Symphony” for violin, viola and orchestra in my Bmol major, K. 364, with the first violin Andrew Irvin and Timothy MacDuff as soloists respectively for violin and viola; and the fourth and final movement of the “Symphony No. Mozart’s 41” in C major, K. 550, “Jupiter”.
