2019 images of former President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, were received at a Florida airport through the guy in the sexual trafficking allegations involving Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz.
A video released in June 2019 through Orlando Sentinel reporter Ryan Gillespie shows then-president, who in Orlando will announce her candidacy for re-election, and Melania Trump disembarking from a plane and gathering Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Jason Pirozzolo on the airport runway.
The Justice Department is investigating whether Pirozzolo, a marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon, and Gaetz violated federal sex trafficking law during a bahamas vacation in 2018 or 2019, CBS News reported.
Sources told CBS News that Pirozzolo paid for the trip, accommodation and female escorts from which they provide the holiday to the Bahamas and said investigators were looking to find out if the escorts were being illegally trafficked across the state’s borders with the goal of having sex with Gaetz: Neither was charged in connection with the investigation.
Gillespie wrote on Twitter at the time that Pirozzolo “an Orlando hand surgeon and GOAA board member,” referring to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
Orlando Sentinel reporter Jason Garcia reported Thursday that when Pirozzolo implemented a GOAA board member, he indexed Gaetz as one of his references.
The branch is also investigating allegations that Gaetz had sex with a 17-year-old woman across state borders, which may also be a violation of state traffic laws, the New York Times reported.
Gaetz denied all the allegations made to him in connection with the investigations and said he had been the victim of an extortion scam. He also denied in particular the accusations relating to the Bahamas.
“Rep. Gaetz never paid for sex or had sex with a minor,” a spokesman told CBS. “The headlines on “sex trafficking” became a general fishing exercise in holidays and consensual relationships with adults. “
