Iran identifies suspected nuclear enrichment site sabotage

(Bloomberg) – A guy allegedly concerned about an attack on Iran’s biggest nuclear enrichment has fled the country, the semi-official club of young journalists reported.

The suspect, known as a 43-year-old Iranian citizen, “Reza Karimi,” left Iran before sabotaging the natanz facility’s power grid, causing a power outage and damaging several centrifuges, YJC said. Efforts were being made to locate him and send him home.

Iran blamed Israel for the attack and promised to retaliate. The country also responded by expanding uranium enrichment to 60% purity, well above the 3. 67% limit allowed by the nuclear agreement.
