A new bar that has opened in Sunderland has planned to expand further in June, bringing 30 sports screens in time for Euro matches.

And after a launch party on Friday, which included loose pizzas and beverage deals, the team is now making plans to open the Craigs Sports Bar.
It all happens on site and Halo, which also has a giant seating area, plans to start hosting events in June, starting with a rock ‘n’ roll bingo night on June 3.
This will be followed by an NHS charity evening on June 26; a night at the workplace on July nine for local businesses and a “School Out” night on July 30, as a thank you to local teachers who have worked on the pandemic.

The bar will feature more than 30 sports screens such as pool tables and virtual dares.
There will also be a giant outdoor screen so that visitors who wish to enjoy what will be a lot of summer sun, can enjoy the most productive of both worlds.
Its new bar manager, MJ Shannon, said Halo’s purpose is to help other people make a career in hospitality and that the venue will have a team of 40 to 50 people once it’s finished.
