PHILADELPHIA – Joel Embiid, middle of the Philadelphia 76ers, is in game five because of a sore right knee.
Embiid underwent an MRI on Tuesday and his prestige will be before the fifth game of Philadelphia’s game against the Washington Wizards, a user familiar with the resolution told The Associated Press.
The user spoke to the Palestinian Authority on Tuesday on condition of anonymity, as the resolution has been formalized.
The Sixers lead the Wizards 3-1 in the Eastern Conference first-round series. Game five is Wednesday night.
The NBA Most Valuable Player finalist found himself on the court behind the baseline after seeing his shot blocked through Washington’s Robin Lopez in a practice toward the basket in the first quarter.
After mendacity for a while, Embiid grimaced and stood up and put his hand on his lower back.
He stayed in the game for now, even though everything headed to the locker room in the last minute of the period.
Embiid entered the game averaging more than a point consistent with the minute in the seven most sensible series.
He scored a career-high 36 playoff problems in 28 minutes in a 29-point win for the 76ers in Saturday’s third game.
