A new farmers and crafts market will open its doors in downtown Mesquite on Saturday, June 12.

The Mesquite Downtown Farmers’ Market will be open weekly from 9 a. m. at 2 p. m. on Saturdays at Front Street Station, one hundred W. Front Street.

“We are very excited to bring this new market to historic downtown Mesquite,” Beverly Abell, director of downtown development, said in a news release. “We think the public will love this market, which will actually focus on local seasonal produce as well as original handmade products. “
