Redding will host a new circle of family members instead of the annual Frog Frolic

North Country will take place in Storybook Stomp at the Mark Twain library in Redding on July 10.

For those who have missed Redding’s annual Frog Frolic for more than two years due to Covid cancellations, the Mark Twain Library has announced that it will host, Storybook Stomp, a new circle of family members on July 10.

From noon to four in the afternoon. attendees can enjoy live music, food and, as the library staff promises, many “much-needed family entertainment circles. “The Stomp storybook will be located at the Redding Community Center on Lonetown Road.

While the Storybook Stomp may not be the same as the library’s classic Frog Frolic, which also features a variety of crafts and games, the occasion gives other people the chance to combine them after long months of pandemic isolation.

“A much-awaited opportunity for families in our network to come together to laugh,” said Eric Rubury, a member of the Mark Twain Library Board of Trustees. “We’ve missed being able to host the Frog Frolic in the afterlife two years and we’re excited to be able to offer anything now that the rules allow us to meet in person. “

While the occasion takes place outdoors, the Mark Twain Library encourages attendees to follow CDC rules for social distancing and asks others to wear their masks.
