WILMINGTON – It will be a beautiful summer night when legendary Ohio country rock band McGuffey Lane kick off the summer rock the block wilmington concert series at 7 p. m. on Friday (July 2) on Sugartree Street in Wilmington.
Tin Cap and The Escape will be open and able to serve you along Sugartree Street.
Bring a garden chair if you wish and the evening and McGuffey Lane, who recorded with Atlantic Records and toured with Charlie Daniels, the Allman Brothers, The Judds and Marshall Tucker Band.
The band is on an excursion in Ohio, with a concert in Zanesville on Thursday night before the Wilmington event, then one in Groveport on Saturday night.
On the weekend of July 8-10, the day of the massive annual country concert will be held at Fort Loramie; Alan Jackson, Justin Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Riley Green, the Bellamy Brothers and Jesse Keith Whitley were also at the level that night. The artists appearing on the other two days come with Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Neal McCoy and Jo Dee Messina.
Turn up the volume
In Wilmington next week at 7 p. m. On Friday, July 9, the series on Sugartree Street continues with Turn It Up, The Lynyrd Skynyrd Experience, “dedicated to the original sound that helped introduce The to Southern rock. “
Occasions are through the Clinton County Office of Visitors and Conventions and the City of Wilmington.
