The winner of Mrs Malaysia World 2019/2020 has been campaigning since 2020, encouraging small business owners to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle by implementing plastic-free practices in their business activities.
Plastic Free July is a global initiative that encourages millions of others to join the fight against plastic pollution, resulting in cleaner streets, oceans and communities.
Priyaa believes that educating the global network about the destructive effects of single-use plastics in the surrounding area starts with communities.
Therefore, it will collaborate with Zero Waste Malaysia to offer an informal workshop to teach commercial homeowners how they can take advantage of an environment-friendly environment by making conscious business decisions.
“I hope those corporations reap the benefits of an environmentally friendly environment and continue their eco-responsible adventure beyond July without plastic,” Priyaa told Bernama.
Recalling the sweet memories she had during her year-long adventure as Ms. Malaysia World advocating for the better environment, Priyaa said she started out without wisdom when she participated in the Plastic-Free July crusade in July 2020, but then made her efforts. . had a positive effect on other people and the environment.
“I spent a lot of time reading and watching documentaries on a variety of topics, from waste disposal to livestock advertising, to my wisdom about waste-free lifestyles and sustainable living.
“Along the way, I made the decision to become a vegetarian because I was looking to restrict my negative effect on our environment and help maintain our planet’s herbal resources,” said Priyaa, who also cares about entrepreneurship.
Priyaa said she joined a friend in a business called EcoQueen, which aims to educate the public and sell the importance of a sustainable lifestyle.
He said EcoQueen is a marketplace that brings together all sustainable and conscious local products on one roof.
