Amazon, the U. S. multinational generation company that focuses on e-commerce, recently ruled out the option of accepting invoices with Bitcoin.
In an emailed reaction to CoinDesk, a news site specializing in bitcoins and virtual currencies, the tech colossus gave a backlash, accelerating the hopes of those who had believed the company would approve such a plan.
“Despite our interest in space, the hypothesis that has emerged around our express plans for cryptocurrencies is true,” Amazon edited.
“We remain focused on exploring what this look looks like for consumers who buy groceries on Amazon,” the multinational added in its statement.
It all started a few days earlier when one of London’s most popular loose newspapers, distributed in the British capital’s underground, City A. M. , reported that Amazon was contemplating such a possibility.
Elon Musk, chief executive of Tesla, SpaceX and The Boring Company, said last week that Tesla will most likely begin accepting the cryptocurrency bitcoin as a means of payment.
The CEO had made the decision to ban Bitcoin due to complaints related to the effect of its mining procedure on the environment. Since then, cryptocurrency has moved to put renewable energy resources into effect in response.

“I would like to do a little more diligence to verify that the percentage of renewable energy use is maximum probably equivalent to or greater than 50% and that there is a trend towards an accumulation in this number. The answer is maximum likely that Tesla would start accepting bitcoins again».
While Musk’s most recent comments seem to verify that Bitcoin will be returned as payment at Tesla, the billionaire engineer also reported last month that the payment would be accepted if the currency worked to meet certain energy standards.
The electric car maker tweeted in June that it would support bitcoin transactions “when moderate use (around 50%) of blank energy through miners with a positive long-term trend. “
His had led to a bitcoin rally that topped $40,600.
His message was in reaction to an article via Cointelegraph, which quoted Magda Wierzycka, chief executive of South African asset manager Sygnia, as saying musk’s recent tweets about Bitcoin have triggered an investigation through the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission. U. S.
